Admission Requirements for Economics and Statistics
WAEC/NECO Subject Combination
The WAEC/NECO subject combination and requirements needed to study Economics and Statistics is Five SSCE credit passes in English Language, Mathematics, Economics and any two Arts or Social Science subjects.
JAMB Subject Combination
In UTME, please note that the English Language is Compulsory for this course.
Therefore, the three (3) other JAMB UTME subject combinations needed to study Economics and Statistics under the Faculty of Social & Management Sciences at FUGASHUA include;
Economics, Mathematics and any of Government, History, Geography, Lit-in-English, French and CRK/IRK
Direct Entry Requirement
These are the conditions you need to fulfil to gain Direct Entry admission to study Economics and Statistics if you don’t intend to use UTME.
You require;
Two ‘A’ level passes in Economics and any one of Mathematics, Statistics, Geography, Physics, Chemistry, Agric Science, Accounting, Business Management, History and Government.
JAMB Score
All candidates interested in getting admitted into FUGSHUA for the 2023/2024 session should know that to be eligible for the screening, you must have scored a minimum of 160 and above in your JAMB result.
