The National University has granted the federal University of Duste complete approval for the study and implementation of nineteen undergraduate program.
Professor Abdulkarim Saho Mohammed, the vice chancellor has shown his appreciation to the students and staffs of the university for this great achievement and he mentioned that the university will consistently improve in standard and quality of its program
He also stated that the accreditation of the medical program is not a small achievement for the university and it will stand as a medium for both staffs and students to double their effort to ensure that the MBBS program of the university is among the best in the country.
He listed the accredited programs as Medicine and Surgery, Anatomy Physiology, Agriculture, Accounting, Actuarial Science, Banking and Finance, Business Administration, and Taxation.
Others are Linguistics (Arabic), Linguistics (English), Biochemistry, Biology, Environmental Management and Toxicology, Mathematics, Microbiology, Economics, Information Technology, and Software Engineering.
The accreditation follows the inspection and validation of manpower resources and facilities available for training of highly skilled graduates in respective disciplines.
