FCAHPT Vom Admission Requirements

Applicants are to note that all National Diploma Admissions are through JAMB.

In addition, applicants who possess the basic ordinary level entry requirement, regardless of whether they chose the College or not, but have scored the minimum cut-off marks of 120 in UTME can apply for any of the ND programmes.

Remedial Programme

  • Environmental Health Assistant
    • Four (4) ordinary passes in SSCE/GCE/NABTEB or its equivalent in not more than two (2) sittings in science subjects. A credit pass in the English Language would be an added advantage.
  • Environmental Health Technician
    • Three (3) Credit level passes in SSCE/GCE/NABTEB or its equivalent in not more than two (2) sittings in English Language and Mathematics.
    • Any other science subjects such as Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Agricultural Science, Geography, Technical Drawing,, Health Science or Food and Nutrition.
    • In addition to the initial three (3) Credit level passes, two (2) other science subjects at ordinary pass levels are required.

    • Any one other subject from Technical Drawing, Metal or Wood Work, Basic Electricity, Geography, and Further Mathematics.
    • At least a pass in each of the three (3) basic sciences: Biology, Chemistry and Physics is compulsory and relevant NTC/NBC and NVC trades.
  • National Diploma in Environmental Health Technology
    • Five (5) Credit level passes in SSCE/GCE or its equivalent in not more than two (2) sittings.
    • The five (5) subjects must include English Language, Mathematics, Chemistry and Biology/Agricultural Science/Health Science, and any other subject from Physics, Technical Drawing, Geography, Food and Nutrition/Home Management and Economics/Commerce.
    • Ordinary level entry requirement as in ‘a’ above with Environmental Health Assistant Certificate.
    • Applicants with ordinary level entry requirements as in ‘a’ above with Environmental Health Technician Certificate will be admitted directly to ND II.
  • National Diploma in Computer Science
    • Five (5) Credit level passes in SSCE/GCE or its equivalent in not more than two (2) sittings.
    • The five (5) subjects must include English Language, Mathematics, and basic science from Physics/Chemistry/Biology/Agricultural Science.
    • Other subjects are chosen from the following: Economics, Geography, Further Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Agricultural Science, Typewriting and ICT/Computer Studies.
    • A pass in Physics is compulsory for Computer Science and relevant NTC/NBC and NVC trades,
    • A pass in the Computer Foundation Examination (CFE) of the Computer Professional Registration Council of Nigeria. Also, the student must be qualified as in ( a) above.
  • National Diploma in Veterinary Laboratory Technology
    • Five credit passes in GCE or Senior Secondary Certificate (NABTEB WAEC, NECO) at no more than two sittings.
    • The five subjects must include Mathematics, English language, and three other subjects, which include Physics, Chemistry, and Biology/Health Science/Agricultural Science/Animal Husbandry.
  • Higher National Diploma in Animal Health Technology
    • Five (5) Credit level passes in SSCE/GCE or its equivalent in not more than two (2) sittings.

How to Apply for FCAHPTVOM Admission Form

Interested applicants are expected to visit the College portal and fill out the application form after the payment as follows:

Cost of Applications

  • Remedial (N2,000.00)
  • ND Programmes (N3,000.00)
  • Pre-Higher National Diploma (3,000.00)
  • Higher National Diploma Programmes (N6,000.00)

Date for Screening

The screening of all prospective candidates except for Remedial candidates will hold on 10th September 2023 at 8 am on the College premises.

Candidates are to come with the acknowledgement slip printed after completing the Pre-Screening Registration form (application form), all original and photocopies of their credentials for the exercise, and to pay online the following screening fees:

  • One thousand Naira (N1,000) only for Environmental Health Assistants, Environmental Health Technicians, and ND programmes.
  • Two thousand Naira (N2,000) only for HND programmes

CLOSING DATE FOR COMPLETION AND SUBMISSION OF APPLICATION FORM
