The Ekiti State University (EKSU) 25th, 26th & 27th convocation ceremony (for the Conferment of First Degrees, Higher Degrees, Postgraduate Diplomas, and Award of Prizes) scheduled program of events.

The management of EKSU is pleased to announce to the general public that the scheduled program of events for the upcoming 25th & 26th convocation ceremony has been released.

The general public, parents, guardians, and graduands are expected to be a part of this 25th & 26th convocation ceremony held in EKSU.

• Tuesday, 18th April 2023

Convocation Lecture Venue: Main Auditorium, University Campus Lecturer: Professor Labode Popoola, Former Vice Chancellor of Osun State University, Osogbo

Topic: The University System in Nigeria and the Sustainability Question
Time: 1:00 p.m.

Drama/An Evening with the Vice-Chancellor Venue: Senate Chamber, University Campus
Time: 4:00 p.m.

Award of Sub-Degrees, First Degrees, and Presentation of Prizes/Distinctions Venue: Main Auditorium, University Campus
Time: 10:00 a.m.

• Thursday, 20th April 2023

Award of Post Graduate Diplomas, Masters, and Doctorate Degrees Venue: Main Auditorium, University Campus
Time: 10:00 a.m.

The celebration encompasses a Convocation Lecture and the Convocation for the Award of Bachelor, Postgraduate, and Honorary Degrees.

Convocation Lecture

The lecture will focus on contemporary topics and issues relevant to higher education, research, and the nation’s development.

The guest speaker, an esteemed academic or public figure, will be announced closer to the date.

Award of Degrees

The award of degrees Graduating students from various disciplines will receive their Bachelor, Postgraduate, and Honorary Degrees during the ceremony.

Note:

• Graduands must confirm their names on www.eksu.edu.ng.
• Academic robes can be obtained from Faculty Officers/Secretaries after paying the prescribed charges (excluding bank commission) beginning Tuesday, 11th April 2023.
• The deadline for returning academic robes is Friday, 21st April 2023.
• Failing to return the academic robe on time or in good condition will result in a penalty fee.
