The management of the Ekiti State University (EKSU), Ado Ekiti, has announced the resumption of academic activities following the school’s closure due to the ongoing industrial action by the Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU).
The resumption notice was contained in a statement issued by Bode Olofinmuagun, Director of Information and Corporate Affairs of the institution, on Monday, May 23, following a meeting by the management of the university.
According to the statement, the university’s management was concerned about the plight of students and parents as schools continued to be closed.
It also explained that students admitted for the 2023/2024 academic session were yet to resume, while the 2023/2024 second semester is yet to be concluded.
Consequently, in-person academic activities at the university resume on Tuesday, May 24, 2023.
