Ekiti State University, Ado-Ekiti, has suspended all academic activities for two weeks on campus from 11th April 2023.
Professor Edward Olanipekun, the vice-chancellor, made this decision on behalf of the university Senate. Parents, guardians, and students should know this important information in light of this announcement.
Suspension of Academic Activities
The Directorate of Information & Corporate Affairs issued a press release that all academic activities on campus are suspended for two weeks.
The suspension will take effect immediately, beginning on 11th April 2023.
Students Ordered to Vacate Campus
For the entire Two weeks suspension, no within the premises of the campus, no students should be seen as all students are required to leave the campus premises.

Parents and guardians are advised to invite their wards home immediately. Guardians and parents must account for and ensure their children are safely off the premises during this time, as students have been ordered to vacate the campus.

Any student found within the university premises during this suspension period is at their own risk. The university will not be held responsible for any incidents that may occur at this time.
