Delta State College of Nursing Sciences Admission Form for 2023/2024 General Nursing Programme

For its 2023/2024 general nursing program, the Delta State College of Health, Department of Nursing and Midwifery has started selling application forms.

Admission Details

Applications are now being accepted from candidates who meet the required qualifications for a three-year General Nursing Programme at Delta State College of Nursing Sciences.

Successful completion of this programme will bring about the awarding of a Registered Nurse (R.N) Certificate. Applicants can choose between the State School of Nursing in Warri, Eku, or Agbor.

Admission Requirements

Applicants must have Five Credits at SSCE/WASC O/L NECO at no more than two sittings, including English Language, Mathematics, Biology, Physics, and Chemistry. Furthermore, applicants should be between the ages of 17 and 25 years.

Application Procedure

The application only involves a non-refundable Entrance Examination fee of N15,000.00 (Fifteen Thousand Naira).

This payment should be made to the Ministry of Health Department of Nursing and Midwifery’s account at Zenith Bank PLC (Account Number: 1015649624).

Forms are obtainable at various Colleges of choice, Agbor, Warri and Eku. Along with the application form, candidates must submit two passport photographs (coloured with a white background).

All applications must be routed through the applicant’s school principal.

Entrance Examination Schedule


The Common Entrance Examination Committee (Basic Nursing) has scheduled the 2023/2024 entrance examinations as follows:

  • Eku: Wednesday, 6th September, 2023
  • Warri: Thursday, 7th September, 2023


The examinations will be held at the University of Delta (UNIDEL) and begin promptly at 8:00 AM. Candidates are advised to bring writing materials, a Certificate/Notification of Registration (R.M.), a current professional license, and their WAEC/NECO results.
