Admission Requirements for Guidance and Counselling

WAEC/NECO Subject Combination

The WAEC/NECO subject combination and requirements needed to study Guidance and Counselling is Five (5) SSCE credits, including Mathematics and English.

JAMB Subject Combination

In UTME, please note that the English Language is Compulsory for this course.

Therefore, the three (3) other JAMB UTME subject combinations needed to study Guidance and Counselling under the Faculty of Education at ADSU include;

Three other Social science/Art/Science subjects.

Direct Entry Requirement

These are the conditions you need to fulfil to gain Direct Entry admission to study Guidance and Counselling if you don’t intend to use UTME.

‘A’ Level passes or NCE in two (2) subjects plus the UTME requirements.

JAMB Score

All candidates interested in getting admitted into ADSU for the 2023/2024 session should know that to be eligible for the screening, you must have scored a minimum of 180 and above in your JAMB result.
