Adamawa State University is located in Mubi, Adamawa State, Nigeria.
It was established in 2002 by the Adamawa State University Law No. 10 of 2001. The title caption of the university is “Towards ensuring rapid development and transformation of the State.
Admission Requirements for Botany
WAEC/NECO Subject Combination
The WAEC/NECO subject combination and requirements needed to study Botany is Five (5) SSCE credits in Chemistry, Biology/Agricultural Science, Mathematics, Physics, and one Science/Social Science subject.
JAMB Subject Combination
In UTME, please note that the English Language is Compulsory for this course.
Therefore, the three (3) other JAMB UTME subject combinations needed to study Botany under the Faculty of Science at ADSU include;
Chemistry, Biology/Agriculture, and Mathematics or Physics.
Direct Entry Requirement
These are the conditions you need to fulfill to gain Direct Entry admission to study Botany if you don’t intend to use UTME.
Two (2) ‘A’ Level/NCE passes, including Biology/Agricultural Science, Chemistry, and Physics/Mathematics/Economics.
All candidates interested in getting admitted into ADSU for the 2022/2023 session should know that to be eligible for the screening, you must have scored a minimum of 180 and above in your JAMB result.
The university has a very competitive admissions process and does not consider a student’s age, cultural background, or religion when deciding whether to admit them. Thus, a diverse student body is made possible.
