This article is designed to students who wish to study Home Economics and Education Faculty of Social and Management Sciences in Adeyemi College of Education Ondo (ACEONDO) as it is very important for all candidates who wish to apply for any of the courses offered in Adeyemi College Of Education, to carefully confirm and see if the course they Selected is offered in the institution before registering for JAMB.
The Adeyemi College of Education is a federal government higher education institution located in Ondo City, Ondo State, Nigeria. It is affiliated to Obafemi Awolowo University for its degree programmes. Adeyemi College of Education was named after Canon M. C. Adeyemi (one of the earliest educationists in Yorubaland).

To study Home Economics and Education candidates must meet the following requirements.
The O’level subject combination and requirements needed to study Home Economics and Education;
Five (5) ‘O’ Level NTC/NBC credit passes or TC II merit including English Language, Mathematics, Home Economics, Biology and Chemistry.
In UTME, please note that English Language is Compulsory for this course. Therefore, the three (3) other JAMB UTME subject combination needed to study Home Economics and Education under the Faculty of Education in the above Universities include;
Chemistry, Biology or Agricultural Science and one other subject.
(i) EDOMOK requires Chemistry or Biology plus two (2) other Science subjects.
(ii) EDASAB requires Biology or Agricultural Science and any two (2) Science or Social Science subjects
These are the conditions you need to fulfill to gain Direct Entry admission to study Home Economics and Education, if you don’t intend to use UTME.
(i) NCE merit in Home Economics
(ii) ‘A’ Level passes in two (2) of Chemistry or any Biology, Botany and Agricultural Science.
(iii) ND/HND credit in Home Economics or Food Science or Hotel and Catering Management or any other related programme.
All candidates interested in getting admitted to the Adeyemi College Of Education for the 2019/2020 session, should know that to be eligible for the screening, you must have scored 180 or above in your JAMB result.
