ACEONDO Department of Business Education Admission Requirement 2022/2023

This is to inform the general public and all Adeyemi College of Education (ACEONDO) aspirants that the Department of Business Education admission requirements have been published.

The admission requirements include O’level Subject combinations, JAMB UTME Subject combinations, and School and Departmental Cut-Off Marks.

Entry Requirements

O’Level Subject Combination

The O’level subject combination and requirements needed to study Business Education include the following: Five (5) SSCE credit passes in the following subjects:

  • English Language
  • Mathematics
  • Economics and two (2) other subjects in the Social Sciences or Arts.
  • For NBC, the other subjects could be from the following: Commerce, Office Practice, Principles of Accounts, Secretarial Duties, Typewriting and Shorthand.

JAMB UTME Subject Combination

Candidates will write the following Four (4) Subjects in JAMB

  • English Language
  • Mathematics
  • Economics plus one (1) subject from below:
  • Literature in English
  • History
  • Government
  • Geography
  • Chemistry
  • Physics

Direct Entry Requirement

These are the conditions you need to fulfil to gain Direct Entry admission to study Business Education if you don’t intend to use UTME. You require:

  • Two (2) ‘A’ Level passes or NCE merit in two (2) relevant subjects
  • NCE merit in Business Education Double Major

JAMB Score

All candidates interested in getting admitted to the  Adeyemi College Of Education for the 2022/2023 session should know that to be eligible for the screening, you must have scored 120 or above in your JAMB result.
