AAU Academic Calendar for 2023/2024 Academic Session

The Ambrose Alli University (AAU) Ekpoma academic calendar for the 2023/2024 academic session has been released.

This is to inform all the students of Ambrose Alli University (AAU), Ekpoma, that the Senate has approved the Academic Calendar for the 2023/2024 academic session.

AAU Ekpoma Academic Calendar

• Saturday, 1 July, 2023: Fresh students enter campus.
• Monday, 3 July, 2023: Course registration and orientation for fresh students begin.
• Friday, 7 July, 2023: Old students enter campus.
• Monday, 10 July 2023: Course registration for old students begins.
• Tuesday, 11 July, 2023: First Semester lectures for fresh and old students begin.
• Friday, 28 July, 2023: Matriculation ceremony.
• Monday, 31 July, 2023: Course registration for all students ends.
• Monday, 7 August, 2023: Late course registration for all students ends.
• Thursday, 17 August, 2023: Continuous Student Assessment.
• Saturday, 23 September 2023: First Semester lectures end.
• Thursday, 28 September, 2023: First Semester Examinations begin with GST and ENT courses.
• Saturday, 28 October, 2023: First Semester Examinations end.

Following a break, the Second Semester commences:

• Sunday, 5 November, 2023: Students resume for Second Semester.
• Monday, 6 November, 2023: Second Semester lectures begin.
• Monday, 18th December-Friday, 22 December, 2023: Continuous student assessment.
• Saturday, 23 December, 2023: Christmas break begins.
• Thursday, 4 January, 2023: Continuation of Second Semester lectures.
• Wednesday, 7 February, 2023: Second Semester lectures end.
• Monday, 12 February, 2023: Second Semester Examinations begin with GST and ENT courses.
• Friday, 15 March, 2023: Second Semester Examinations end.

In conclusion of the academic session:

• Monday, 15 April, 2023: Faculty Boards meet to consider results.
• Wednesday, 17th-Thursday, 18 April, 2023: Business Committee of Senate meets to consider results.
• Monday, 22nd-Wednesday, 24 April, 2023: Meeting of Senate to consider results and end of the session.
