This is to bring to public notice that the management of the Joint Admission Matriculation Board (JAMB) after several meetings has come the conclusion of the debate of scrapping cut off marks in tertiary institutions.
According to the JAMB Registrar who mentioned that from hence forth there will be kind of cut off marks among the tertiary institutions across the country.
He also stated that, the fear of cut off marks has made many students not to achieve their dreams of going to University but Instead, finding their selves in polytechnics which is most times against their will.
He also mentioned that, with this new developments made by JAMB, Nigerian students will find it easy to go to school. He said, the ways students will be admitted into tertiary institutions includes;
Screening Students With Their O’ Level Results And
This means that there be no more JAMB or departmental cut off marks that will stand to hinder admission of students.
