Sunday Oliseh has quit his job as the Super Eagles Head Coach of Nigeria.
Former Nigerian international football player and now Super Eagles Head Coach of the Federation, decided to resign as Super Eagles Boss, due to controversies in his tenure.
He took it to his Twitter handle, to announce his resignation to his fellow Nigerians, and to the world.
Sunday Oliseh (41) was appointed as the Super Eagle Head Coach in July 2015.
His reign was a tough one, and it didn’t go smoothly because he faced many challenges during his tenur as a Super Eagles Head Coach.
He encountered failures leading the National Team, with a poor performance result. He has also had a misunderstanding with the previous Super Eagle’s goalkeeper ‘Vincent Enyeama’, which lead to Vincent Enyeama’s decision to leave the National Team.
Sunday Oliseh also said, he was grateful to have coached the National Team, and it was a privilege.
