2baba, Ice Prince, and Waje put came together as one for a social togetherness through a release of their new single titled “50/50”. The song entails gender equality, social and ethnic rights.
They expressed their feelings on the song about how they want everything to br 50/50 in Nigeria, Africa and the World. They said everything should be shared equally amongst women and men. Eg, Top political positions, in both private and public, etc.
Let me start by explaining what gender equality, Social and Ethnic Rights is all about.
Gender Equality: Is achieved when women and men enjoy the same rights and opportunities across all sectors of society, including economic participation and economic decision making, and when the different behaviours, aspirations and needs of women and men are equally valued an favoured.
Social Rights: It requires governments and other powerful sectors to ensure that people have access to basic needs, and that people have a voice in decisions affecting their well being.
Economic, Social, Ethnic & Cultural Rights include human rights to work, the right to an adequate standard of living, including food, clothing, and housing, the right to physical and mental health, the right to social security, the right to healthy environment, and the right to education.
The track is a good and quality song and it can be played anywhere in the world and it has no explicit content. Parents, & guardians should be free to allow their youngsters to listen to this music.
Download and enjoy.
