TOPIC: Deliverance in the Night
Text: Acts 16:25-26
The night speaks about hopelessness, helplessness, fear and despair. The night seasons are those periods where nothing seems to be working, where there is so much struggle with no hope for survival, where it seems you should give up, and the midnight signifies the height of it all.
So it was with Paul and Silas, but their response brought them deliverance; they prayed and sang unto God. The devil will want you to give up, close your mouth, curse God, lose hope, bow your head in shame and conclude on your case. But the Holy Spirit is saying if you can pray and praise in your night seasons, deliverance will come, not just for you but for those around you. Hallelujah.
