Weight Loss Tips. Why do you want to Loose Weight? Do You Want The Desired Result Or The Required Result?

WHY DO YOU WANT TO LOOSE WEIGHT?
The weight loss journey is fun and interested when you know why you want to burn out some fats. Now, most people tend to loose weight for one reason or the other. Some of the reason and genuine while some are not.

WHY DO YOU WANT TO LOOSE WEIGHT?

Weight loss program does not have and expiring date and it is not suppose to have an expiring date because it is suppose to be a lifestyle and not the other way around.
But it will have an expiring date if you are trying to loose weight for a particular thing or purpose. For instance, maybe you want to loose weight just to save your relationship. Now the question here is that, what if that relationship you want to save by losing much weight crumbles along the line. What would become of you? Will you still continue the weight loss program? Nah, i don’t think so.
The second question is, do you want to loose weight because you feel insecure among your friends or because your friends are doing it?
If that’s the case, then you are not on the right track. And this due to the fact that you would give up even before you started it.

For example, let me use myself as a case study. While i was in high school, I was confused on what to study when i enter the University because i was waiting on my friends to choose for me. Ie i didn’t have a direction back then. Finally almost all my friends chose sciences because they wanted to be Engineers, Doctors, Scientist an so on. I followed them to science class because i never wanted to be left out and because i wanted to be in science class for them and not for myself. But in the end i was the one to be blamed for not stupidity and not them. They were doing very well in all the subjects and me i was trying so hard and my best was not good enough because in all the subject i was managing to reach average expect for English Language and Biology.
And it was like i was not among the best students in class and this gave me sleepless nights and i was so ashamed of myself due to my performance. I could not take in anymore so i took the bold step and left sciences for Arts not minding what people would say, even my friends. I stopped caring about people feelings for once and cared about mine.
I told myself that i wanted to be great for me and come out with good grades for and me alone. I wanted to be proud of myself first , before anyone could be proud of me including my parents. So i made of the hardest decisions of my life back then and i took the bold step that no one thought could ever take, including myself.

I went to my area of specialization and i started making good grades and it felt nice because i was proud of myself, not only proud, i was very happy and pleased with the decision i made. I started seeing positive results and i knew i took the right path.
Now back to the main topic.

Why do you want to loose weight? Do you want to loose weight for yourself or for someone?

Do you want to be smart or feel sexy for yourself or for someone?

Are you do doing you for yourself or otherwise?

You should always have it at the back of your mind that doing you is pretty and you hardly quit, no matter how hard the case might be. But doing you for someone sucks and you gets feed up because you don’t derive pleasure and it is not fun.It is more like a forceful task that can’t be handled totally by you.
It is advisable to really know why you want to loose weight before you even think of loosing weight. You should know why you want involved yourself in a weight loss program before going for it. And until you come with the real answer, you will not get the desired result but the required result.
Let me expatiate on what i meant by the desired and required result. By the desired result, i meant you want to do you for you and not for anyone else. I.e you want to loose weight for you because you want to be smart in everything you do and you also want to feel sexy and wear the kind of clothes you want to wear. E.g, like wearing a bikini to the beach and not fee shy about it.
While the required result is you are doing what you do for someone. Maybe you want to get to get credit or receive a trophy for it, or doing it because others are doing it and you don’t even have the slightest idea why you want to loose weight. And since you don’t have a direction, you are lost because you don’t know where you are going to. And in this kind of field, you only get the required result and not the desired result.

NOTE: If you have been trying to loose weight and you have not been succeeding, please take a step backwards and ask yourself if what you are looking for in loosing weight is the required or the desired result , before you proceed again. Be true to yourself and do you for you and not to please anybody else but you.
Take whatever you do seriously and put it to practice because they said, makes perfect. It is always looks difficult in the beginning but the end result is worth it, don’t ever forget that.
